Clays which come directly from the earth each have their own detox and exfoliating strengths. Clays have been used for centuries to cleanse & detox skin and hair while also being used for any other ailment our ancestors knew it could heal. Clays are not best suited for very dry skin, you may feel even more dry or irritated after use. Best for normal to oily/acne prone skin and some sensitive skin.
We mix white Kaolin clay & Red Moroccan clay (making pink clay, ok for more sensitive skin)along with organic Rosehip powder.
Kaolin, which is known more for its milder effects...Kaolin doesn’t absorb as much as other clays and has a more gentle exfoliating effect as well. Good for sensitive to normal skin.
Moroccan Red clay known as rhassoul clay, absorbs more from the skin as it detoxes making it best for oily skin but mild enough for sensitive skin. This clay is a good addition for acne prone skin.
Rosehip powder is known for its skin regeneration capabilities as well as being great for fine lines and wrinkles. Rich in essential antioxidant and anti-aging nutrients as well as high amounts vitamin C, along with A, D, and E. Studies in 2015 show Rosehip powder use around the eyes reduced the appearance of “crows feet” after 8 weeks.
