African Black Soap
Known for its ability to deeply cleanse the face and exfoliate at the same. Black soap has grown world wide and quickly become famous for clearing problems on the skin such as acne and eczema. Handmade in Ghana using cocoa pod ash, shea butter, water, and plantain ash or coconut oil dependent on recipe, then cooked to perfection by the sun. This soap is the epitome of a gift from nature.
**Always moisturize after using black soap. We recommend only using it 1-2 times a week to begin with. Keep it wrapped in plastic or in a baggie at all times (as dry as possible), it will get white when exposed to air over time. It's ok its not mold, its just how the soap reacts to air. Watch for sharp small rocks or edges in the soap (this is actually a normal issue with pure African black soap.**
Rinse with cool water on your face after washing. If you experience excessive drying of your skin, burning or irritation, discontinue use or make sure it's not due to your lack of moisturizing after cleansing.
